I love to read this! Admittedly, I’ve had a pretty low opinion of Texas for a while now, based on MSM news and my own liberal beliefs, but this movement needs to sweep the country. Sounds as if there’s a lot of momentum behind you and actually a long, rich tradition of progressive populism in Texas,so I wish you luck. Something must change in this country and progressive policies might just do it. Down with oligarchs!

As an expat Texan, it’s been a while since I’ve heard anything good about our beloved state. This gives me hope because I have family and dear friends living there. And I even remember when banks couldn’t have branches. One bank meant one building. And no building in Austin coul be taller than the Capital or the UT Tower. And look at the mess we have now.

Good news, Clayton! You undoubtedly have heard of Molly Ivins's famous quote: "I think of Texas as the laboratory for bad government." I am beyond thrilled to hear that that may be changing in the near future. Stay strong!

Thank you for letting me know that I might someday want to visit Texas after all. I thought it was a scary place for anyone who cares about others or votes for Democrats, supports Democracy, equal rights and inclusivity. More power to you. Please turn Texas back to Blue.
